When cooling the car, a heat pump is essentially identical to a regular air conditioner of the same size. I think you'll be fine, but I'd suggest you don't get a black car if you need to park in the sun.

On my current Chevy Bolt EV, the gearbox fluid needs to be changed somewhere past 100,000 miles. I'd expect the Tesla motor to be at least as good as the Chevy design, if not better, so expect a change somewhere in the 100,000 to 200,000 mile range. :)

Tesla has at least a 6 month backlog of orders to work on, if not a full year. I'd expect to see a Y in showrooms no earlier than September.

Will somebody please carry a tape measure in their car, and next time the see a parked Y get a length measurement? Please?
