2016 90D Front driver door thinks it closes after opening it more than half way.
I have a pre-refresh 2016 90D. When I open the front driver door more than the first hitch spot, the puddle light turns off, and it acts like it closed (turns off the display inside until I put weight on the seat by sitting down, doesn't roll the window back up when I close it, so I have to... -

Tesla infotainment system upgradeable from MCU1 to MCU2
Just paid $1600 to replace the MCU1 when the memory crapped out in February. It would be tough to eat another $2500 on top of that.- runvus

Likely MCU Failure (MCU1 eMMC)
The service guy said last week they were $2300, then it dropped this week(lucky me...). So yeah, it should be company-wide. And he couldn't' answer what upgraded, but it did require them to run a new wire harness for power and also a new Bluetooth adapter, so it wasn't just plugged and play. -

Wiki Consolidated eMMC Thread (MCU repair) (Black Center Screen)
To add my info if it helps. Bought a used 2016 90D with 54k miles last Thursday. I started having issues with music skipping and no connectivity soon after. The service center on Monday and MCU has to be replaced. The total was $1300 for the MCU, $155 labor, $77 diagnostics and rest tax. Ended... -

Likely MCU Failure (MCU1 eMMC)
I just bought my 2016 90D used on Thursday and Friday the eMMC started failing. Took it in yesterday and yup, needs to be replaced. $1600 total and he said it will be an upgraded model(not even sure what that means). Great way to start in the Tesla experience. I am shocked this hasn't raised...
