CCS availability never really a problem around here so I’ve no real issue with taking my car round for 30-40min to charge whilst I go a 10k run. Appreciate you live in Falkirk though, so it’s probably absolutely teeming with expensive electric vehicles queuing up to use the chargers.

Colour changing wrap. I take it this is not as good as a PPF?

Hi Everyone, In final stages of setting up a full wrap, dechrome and rear tints on my M3P. Have had a few quotes and the guys that look most professional and have the best reputation it seems are quoting me £2900 all in. Anyone any experience in how that sounds price wise?

Seriously thinking about how I am going to protect my new car. Really loved the idea of getting a Matt blue wrap on, dechrome, and rear tints. Now wondering if should go for ceramic coating (after doing some basic reading about it). I have a black M3P. Keen for anyone’s thoughts?

Took delivery of my black M3P last week and loving it. At the point of thinking about a wash now. Lots of different ideas online - but what is the best way to wash? Both yourself and taking it somewhere? Should I be worried about taking somewhere to be pressure washed? Thanks

I could also wipe my arse with my hand in order to save money on toilet roll. I choose not to. It’s one of those perks of being filthy rich.

What about washing? Would you take it to the usual £7 hand car wash with pressure washers all round town or not trust it?

Great news! Did they tell u on that day the money was sent or was that the day they emailed? I got told yesterday money was sent, but email only came in today. Got everything crossed for money by Friday as that’s when pick up arranged (already been delayed a week!)

I g I gave them a phone. Have said funds sent. No email or update on portal tho. I’m just at the point of being so anxious about the whole thing now being without a car, but also not losing the one I have as OLEV will be lost and also tax benefit for this year.

Was told on a run today for payment. Nothing as yet...... what time of day was it you got the emails to say funds sent?

They have just explained that I am in a queue for payment and it should be then could be then should be then could be then don’t want to get my hopes up re : next run on Tuesday. invoice was sent 2nd March, verified by Tesla 4th march, went to claim being checked on Tuesday this week

What time on Wednesday did they send and what time on Friday did they arrive? I am hopeful that funds will be sent on Tuesday (which is day 11/10) and pick up on Friday

I i am so sorry you ended up losing it. I was due for delivery on Friday this week and have moved it forward until next Friday in the hope EST have got the funds released. I’m seriously worried now. I only moved to “claim being checked” yesterday and spoke to someone on phone today who “hopes”...

Tesla registered my order made on 11/01 with OLEV on 16/01, so should be fine. As long as EST get ££ to me in time that I don’t lose the car because I think as soon as that happens, the OLEV will have gone.

We are all going to be fine. Phew.

I have managed to speak to someone as well. I ordered my M3P on 11/01 and they confirmed the OLEV grant was applied for on 16/01, so they obviously do this quite promptly after order. Also said if already have registration number, 9/10 have everything OLEV done.

** UPDATE ** My order was on 11/01 and the OLEV Grant was applied for on 16/01 by Tesla so has been “uploaded on the portal” so should be fine. OLEV say if order already created then should be fine.

Who did you manage to speak to at this time?

It all depends on whether Tesla register the order on the OLEV portal at point of order. OLEV tweeting that it applies to new orders. If already registered on the portal before midnight tonight, will get grant.

I think this is a good find. I reckon Tesla will have raised the OLEV start of claim soon after order (or they should have) so I think this, in the eyes of OLEV, will be registration in the portal. Do you not think?

Guys are we all aware we may be paying 3.5k more. Budget removed plug in Grant today for M3P

I have phoned and delayed my Friday pick up (this Friday) for a week. EST has changed to “claim being checked” this afternoon. As mentioned before, I sent invoice to them last Monday (6 or 7 working days ago). Mixed messages today as to where I am with the 10 day thing. Hopeful the extra week...

Same r Same response have to me. Tesla also returned last Wednesday. Told very busy and taking up to the 10 days to process after this and then 3-5 days for transfer. Pretty worried (as with others in forum) that not gonna have funds for delivery (Friday) - it’s really not looking likely now...

I’m due 13th in Edin. M3P Black/Black. No text or emails, just noticed in my account middle of last week there was a delivery slot. Have chased them since then to issue me with invoice which has been issued today with the VIN. (I’m on BROOKLANDS)

My M3P is on BROOKLANDS. No text/formal VIN as yet but a delivery date is now showing on my account as Fri 13th March (Edinburgh). When do they text? When is the final invoice issued??

So BROOKLANDS seems to be making good progress. Anyone any idea when BROOKLANDS car people might start getting their texts?

Going by when others got texts with VINs and delivery slots.... when do you think those whose car is in BROOKLANDS will start getting messages?
