Same. Mine's an April build. Other than some stupid software glitches, it's a wonderful car. I've also heard that the RWD actually drives (feels?) better than the AWD versions due to the lighter front end. I have no proof of that though.

I'm glad it's not just me. It litterally jumped from the normal 280-ish up to almost 600 during my drive. Very odd. The service center said they can't even troubleshoot it because it's an app within the software. Their recommendation was to just not use it. Seriously. 2023.7.20

Right. But if you're no longer under warranty and know how to work on cars, you can definitely prolong the inevitable by injecting grease into the boot until you find the time to replace the UCA's.

Don't forget that not everyone likes the Model 3 seats. You might be one of those and then you'd be upside down in an expensive car that you hate driving. And that drive will be horrible, not to mention trying to charge fully at work.

OMG, no. Thanks for finding the humor :) There are only two clips to remove the rear seat. Easy to get out. A little harder to put back in.

If you remove the rear seat (bottom), it will allow the passenger seat back to recline further. That along with removing the head rest and loading from rear driver's side to front passenger side might give you enough room. You're going to hear some cool motor sounds too!

That's why I listen for the honk when the car auto locks and verify the mirrors are folded in.

Nothing (in theory). The car and charger are communicating with each other while connected. If you yanked the charging cable out while charging, the communication pins would disconnect first and the charging would stop- before the charging pins would disconnect so no arcs & sparks. Look inside...

Interestingly, everything I read says that the OEM replacement is a 51R, but the old battery was definitely not a 51R. It's too narrow. But it's a "Tesla" battery and shows 40 Ah capacity...? 51R's are 30 Ah. And it's not an "R." 4/19 build date, 12/19 battery date, so it was replaced shortly...

You really don't need to be that fancy. A stack of notebook paper (or even an old magazine) works just as well.

Not sure if this was posted elsewhere in this thread, but you can listen to SiriusXM using the car's browser. It's not perfect, but it does work.
