I have definitely been trying to stress that to him since I came across this thread as mine very easily is discernible between the two modes.

Have you tried to call a service center and confirm that the higher the percentage the softer the ride?

In a perfect world everybody would get the solution that's best for them but let it be known that there are people that prefer the yoke to the wheel and would not opt for a wheel if given the chance. Now if we could just get the center of the yolk to work as the horn!

I'm good with all the buttons except for the horn. It's too goddamn far away and too small and the whole thing about covering the right side I think is more of a hacky solution than that the wheel detects your hand covering everything. Basically I don't think there is logic in the programming...

Remember that this system is working for some. This is not an issue for all Model S's. My system is unmistakeably working between comfort and sport. I really wish someone with a non-working system could ride in one that's working and vice-versa.

But your conclusion that a higher percentage means a softer suspension simply makes no sense, especially on a car that is working properly. I believe your numbers that are displayed are correct but there is something wrong with the execution.

It is not available for the refresh vehicles and is super lame. The right scroll wheel also has no left/right function currently.

I found this video that shows someone going through the settings and describing the effects. The most constructive thing I can say is that the system DOES work for some and seems to not work in others. Any problem that exists does not exist in all the cars.

To clarify I'm not addressing the electrical aspects, only that comfort at 4-12% would be considered "4%-12% closed" meaning they are open 88%-96% open at that setting.

I believe that conclusion is based on the higher number being softer and I don't believe that is the case. Based on my driving and the percentages I see a higher number is more resistance in the current travel direction.

What I need to illustrate is that is not the case for me. As I said earlier the difference is not subtle at all. I drive in Chicago and always switch to comfort because it handles the rough roads significantly better than sport which is always a stiff ride. I wish I could take you for a ride...

For me the difference is dramatic and noticable between the 2. Comfort is cushy and boaty and sport is very firm with zero "boating".

Mine rattles on the under-dash panel to the right of the yoke (panel nearest my knees). If I press that part it stops.. Anyone know how to remove it?
