53 countries adopt strict FSD regulations

As long as Tesla keeps calling it L2 we should be fine. I think the quotes in the first post are slightly misleading. This is a regulation aimed at safely introducing L3 automated vehicles. Not to misunderstand me, the limitations seems to make L3-classified systems absolutely useless compared...

AP3/FSD Speed Limit on Regular Roads

With the latest stop light feature, they also capped the max speed of autopilot to the speed limit on non-divided roads. For countries where the feature is not released yet, but where the car has FSD with AP3 installed, do they still cap the speed of autopilot? I want to buy FSD (not expecting...

Possible to fix matte / faded paint areas after driving on gravel roads by detailing?

I'm looking to buy a red Model S 2018, but it has faded spots in the paint behind the rear wheels in and near the bottom of the wheel well. The seller initially refused that there was some kind of wear or damage, and told me it was only dust or dirt that could be washed away. It now seems like...

S75D 10%/1,5y Degradation - Real or just a safety margin?

Thanks a lot for you swift replies. It seems like S75Ds sold in Norway never showed more than 236-242mi when new at 100% SoC (according to Norwegian forums), and a slight miscalculation means that the car has 228mi at 100%, not 225. I don't know if this is a Norwegian thing, or if I've messed up...

S75D 10%/1,5y Degradation - Real or just a safety margin?

I then find the degradation quite excessive after so few miles and so short time, as far as I can see compared to other cars mentioned in this forum. Is there any truth to the claim that the real range isn’t affected, and that it’s mainly a safety margin in the display to protect the battery...

S75D 10%/1,5y Degradation - Real or just a safety margin?

I’m about to buy a September 2018 S75D with 21000miles / 34000km. 100% charge is 225mi / 363km. The seller (a Tesla employee) says it’s not real range loss, just a safety margin introduced via an update, and that the real range is unaffected. I don’t find any sources that support this claim. I’m...
