First night on IO and had the same issues - set to 80% but reached 64 at 1:30 then drained to 60 by morning!🤔 Does IO attempt to wake lots of Teslas at the same time to restart charging? How much load would that put on the servers? ... and now it's started again at 11:30 - 12:00 which is a pain...

Same here. Cleared the emergency braking message straight away but cruise didn't work till the next day or so. Worth a try before you book a service call.

Is there a spreadsheet or database of costs at different sites anywhere? Coming back home from Belgium via Folkestone I could see 22p at Heathrow but 37p on the M40 - and some London sites seem to be 44p at peak times but 22p off peak. In the grand scheme of things it's not a big deal - Covid...

I had my first 10% overnight phantom drain in an underground car park last week. Turned off sentry (as it's a locked garage) and lost 1% in next 10 days - that's better!

With the difference between peak and off peak at around 9p per kWh on Octopus Go I'm sure if you can afford the Tesla it's not a big issue? I was totally anal about sticking to off peak time, but then realised it's not worth the stress! Relax and enjoy! 😉

Not seen it in this thread but does anyone else have a problem when overtaking 2 trucks in lanes 1 and 2. After I pass and try to move back into lane 2, any truck in lane 1 jumps into lane 2 on the visualisation as a red obstacle and the car gives me a collision warning. It only lasts a few...

Interestingly, when we're parked at home, the car thinks we're actually either next door but one or at the opposite end of the next cul de sac!

Seriously? I'm still smiling 15 months into my M3LR. Bought LR so we could get to my daughter in Brussels (that would be nice!) - 3 x 15 min stops en route, so forget range anxiety. It's still a talking point with neighbours and other randoms in supermarket car parks - I feel I'm an evangelist...

If you tap the supercharger icon on the nav screen it shows all the details. I had a trawl around the route from Lancs to Folkestone last night and, whilst most are now around 30p, Heathrow T5 claims to be 20p/Kwh!!

FSD computer on mine but only standard AP. VIN 687xxx if that's useful info.

Maybe all new Tesla drivers should have a 24kW Leaf first! You learn massively about energy economy. Cruise will increase consumption as it's constantly accelerating and decelerating, air con was always OK but without too much heat and with low fan speeds, and go easy on the right boot! Enjoy...

Removal of EV grant is only for future orders through the government portal. I would hope Tesla applies for the grant when the car was ordered.

I'd second that. 25k miles in 2.5 years. Admittedly had an ICE for long journeys but managed 200 mile round trips with destination charging and 1 top up en route. Maybe donde of the hypermiling techniques will stand me in good stead getting the best out of my M3 LR!

Still waiting for my M3LR, but from experience in a 24kW Leaf it's the heating that kills the range. Heated seats in that run from the 12v supply not the motor battery. A/C with a lowish temp draws very little. Looking forward to not having to slipstream HGVs to get home!

I guess as far as Tesla are concerned if the cars have left the factory they are inventory, whether they're at sea or in a showroom.

I asked Stockport about personalised plates and they said they can't offer to assign them because of the number of vehicles they are handling. £25 for a set of plates isn't a bad price!

We've been on a smart meter with Bulb who've been promising an odd peak rate since Sept 19 but it's never materialised. Had a hunt around yesterday and Orbit are offering a tariff of 10.98p for electricity do for anyone who needs to charge anytime or can't be bothered with timing charges that...

Still waiting for my M3 LR and picking up lots of interesting info. FWIW, misting up is worse in my Leaf than in previous ICE cars. Air con clears it better than heating and according to the energy usage readout uses less energy. I wonder is air con the best answer for this too? Looking forward...

Twsla have offered me a fair price for my 2015 Tekna Leaf which I've accepted, but a very poor one on a low mileage C4 GP - Arnold Clark gave me £2k more than Tesla's offer, and it was an easy process.
