So it seems like they are just replying to your original email to change your configuration, it's not that they initiated the conversation regarding your RWD order.

I see myself waiting a couple of months for Tesla to supposedly contact me regarding my RWD order, any sort of monetary incentive to upgrade would be nice and make it feel it was worth the wait, just have to be patient even though it's hard with so much talk of the Model Y right now.

I recently spoke with Tesla chat and they said all the info they have is that the production for the Model Y RWD will begin 2021. However a month ago a Tesla store rep told me that RWD customers would be upgraded to AWD so who knows...
