Happened to me. Just chat with tesla support and they will restart the update for you. They did that to mine and it restarted and then was able to complete. I just sat in the car and watched it happen while I chatted with them through the website on my phone.

I called hq 2 times today to try after hearing it worked for some. Both people shut me down, one was a bit snotty too. Haven’t tried calling the NC delivery center yet but may be worth it.

Just answered my own question. Spoke to my delivery specialist today who said it’s in route but it still does not show up for tracking so guess that’s not the case for everyone!

No I realize that wasnt the vin, but I was screenshotting from my phone and didnt want all my personal information posted on here :) Figured the title of the document would help others know if it was similar to the MVPA or not.

You are correct! I just chatted with Tesla support and they said, "When you apply for Tesla lending it will be a lending agreement. Cash deals and 3rd party loans will have MVPA's."

for MVPA are you just searching "MVPA" in the source?

Interesting. I have one there called lending agreement that has all that.

Is the “mvpa” actually called lending agreement?

Not sure. I read elsewhere that Tesla uses this company to ship all the cars but wasn’t sure how true that was or not. Mine is scheduled for delivery on 16th so maybe it hasn’t shipped as well, but I was told it was at the losing facility in Cali a few days ago.

For anyone who will be picking up their car in the next few days, are you able to see your VIN tracked at Delivery Receipts - United Road ? Wondering if all VINs eventually show up here or if its hit or miss.

Charlotte, NC! Delivery date scheduled for 6/16 at the moment :) Did not receive this text yesterday though.

I called the local Tesla location and went to extension 4 (delivery) and spoke with one of the folks there about it. He was super helpful and informative. He did mention sometimes the VINs are so new they dont have information on it yet, however, mine fortunately had some info.

I received my VIN in source code on the night of the May 29th (this past friday). I just called and got confirmation the card is sitting at the carrier facility in Cali right now, and they scheduled my delivery date for 2 weeks out from today (16th). They said if it comes in sooner they will...

Lol, even though I am one of those people, I know how ridiculous it is. I honestly feel for all you that ordered last YEAR and still havent heard anything from Tesla!!! I've already seen people with my exact config who have ordered after me and have their delivery already scheduled...

Just had a heart attack... had my first 1/2 find in source code searching "5j" (im not turning in one) but it was both garbage, not VIN o_O

Yes, that has happened to me a few times and always gets me for a split second.. One of these times it will actually be there! (I check about 10-15 times a day lol!)

You guys are killing me! Order placed 4/17/20 for MSM/LRAWD/Black/20"/FSD.. i check obsessively through the day, every day, and my heart still aches when I see "0/0" when searching the source code for "5y" lol... fingers crossed that itll appear soon!
