This affects more than just ui. It changes the values for what it looks for on rear ebp hardware. Hence the errors. Wouldn't do it unless you actually have the upgraded hardware. Also only shows red only on performance cars even with setting change.

Public toolbox can now code headlights to global. Just tested.

I didn't end up replacing the lv controller. I think what I was skipping is the redeployment of the firmware after the config change that was keeping it from working.

Update. Mine had a similar behavior to yours. I got toolbox from a friend updated the tow package to rev2 and redeployed the firmware. It's working correctly now. Redeployment is required after update.

Ordered the new left lv controller. Let's see.

I have this exact tow hitch. It does not operate on my Fremont built hw4 car even with the configuration updated. Tried rev1 and rev2 under the tow configuration. Lights don't operate. Trailer icon remains red. Looking for the same answer. Connector fits but nothing works on the 7 pin.

Brake bleed procedures no longer require toolbox. They are available in 2023.44 in the service mode brakes menu.

Sorry I use a dedicated android phone to run teslogic and there is a beta link in the playstore. Not sure about iOS.

If you use adapters on a 21 or newer this will happen. Left side only not light specific. Adapters are only meant for 17-20. Is your car 21 or newer?

I believe as of 2023.32.1 some of those setting are also customizable right from the car in service mode.

Mine is set to eu_cn with no change in behavior. It's almost as if that parameter on 2020 and older doesn't do anything.

Also, the 2020 and older are hard-coded by country code from what I understand. They can't be set to global for taillights.

Oem trunk isn't possible. The actual trunk lid and body panels are a little different if I remember correctly.

I don't recall if that 12v relay trigger wire is infact a PWM signal. If so, it could possibly make some leds flicker.

It can be done. It's a matter of knowing how. It's not a standard procedure they use to do the config change. The change is not allowed in the GUI on toolbox3. The drop down "headlamp" menu is locked. It's has to be done the way @verygreen has said.

Access is not the same. Though there are some indy shops that have figured the hacked method out. Yet to find one.

Service tech refused to even hook toolbox3 up to do the change. Idk what tesla is telling them. But the one that came out today said all connections to any car are logged. Which is expected. Though I am not sure if they really review this info.
