Only easy way to do this is by disabling mobile access in the car menus. I’ve never had to do this and recommend testing it before you rely on it.

Looks like we're getting Cloud Profiles and Blind Spot Camera position options (bottom left, top left, etc). Anyone have the full release notes?

You can get your desired results by modifying two settings: 1. Turn off cabin overheat protection in the car menus 2. Turn off walk away door like while at home in the car menus

I’ve got a 2019 Model 3 I’d like to take a shot at. Any idea how many steps for the console harness replacement?

This seems like a really simple plug and play swap, might not even have to fully remove the center console, just undo the bolts and scoot it back to reach that hub in the front. I'm lucky to have an awesome service center, but I'm waiting for smatthew's confirmation that it's a simple swap...

Of note, Cabin overheat only kicks on for up to 12 hours after the cars last wake event. So, if your car deep sleeps for more than 12 hours, cabin overheat won’t kick on anymore unless you wake the car every 12 hours.

You can shop around for a different microSD card than that, there are several with great operating temperatures. Just make sure write speed is at least 30 MB/s.

Grab a USB to microSD adapter (check UGREEN on Amazon) and a Samsung EVO Plus microSD card. Operating temps are -13°F to 185°F.

The term we use for this is “phantom braking.” It can happen at any time, for seemingly no reason. I mostly notice it randomly on underpasses, once a month or so, sometimes less.

Unfortunately, that’s not how capitalism works.

I’ve heard it was a very large bug from two sources now.
