Can cabin overheat protection/sentry mode leave you stranded?

Of course it doesn't, but its thick. Cool if the M3 could tell you. All the data is there then its just driver choice

    [UK] 2020.28.x

Makes sure sentry mode is off - if i try and it fails for that reason, i have to update from the car rather than the app.

apparently there are 700 cars on the urgent delivery list - thats those that have advised they are priority or a key worker

You forgot to mention that you told Tesla your car need was essential in the first text (when key workers were struggling to get theirs), when in your own words it was neither essential and that you were not a key worker.

Yes, the fine is I believe only £30 fixed penalty (up to an unlimited fine). There is also a risk that if you are contagious, you could be charged with terrorism and face up to 5 years locked up - the latter has to be confirmed

    2019/20 Orders and Deliveries [closed]

Shirley thats not the point, the point is there are key workers that need the cars and you are taking that delivery slot away from them - stop being selfish and do your bit for your country - if you are not a key worker, let them have priority. How would you feel if they have to chose which...

    2019/20 Orders and Deliveries [closed]

The difference Dilly is you are clearly a key worker and the car is essential - others are not and neither is the car - stay safe and thank you :D

    2019/20 Orders and Deliveries [closed]

Yes, I do understand. Where the car is essential and for a key worker.

    2019/20 Orders and Deliveries [closed]

There are valid reasons for picking up, and i would consider the example/your situation provided would meet the exceptional circumstances test, in my view - risk reward and key worker. It is however not for the public to judge risk when we have been asked not to do something ie safer than the...

I don't need to explain to you. You have been asked by your Country to act. You are failing to do so for selfish reasons, to get a new car. All I need to say is shame on you!

Thats okay then, its fine to put others at risk if you are not going to be caught out?!?

I must admit, from a group of people who clearly have a reasonable income and thus i would have assumed a reasonable intelligence, some of the proposed behaviour is uncomprehendible.

Its the first time i've ever broken the speed limit officer, i promise. If its not essential and you are not a key worker, you are putting lives at risk whether you stayed at home for the last 12 months or not. Please get a grip - Think of the doctors putting their lives at risk for you or...

    2019/20 Orders and Deliveries [closed]

Contrary to Government and Tesla advice if its not essential. If its not essential, its a selfish act of public disobedience.

    2019/20 Orders and Deliveries [closed]

EDIT - this is not directed at anyone in particular, other than those finding or making up excuses to pick up, when not essential. Government guidance is almost clear - essential travel only. Tesla text is clear "if you deem car essential". Please use your heads. Its a car! If you have an...

Tesla telephone queue ends with a recoded message, "we will contact you nearer your delivery date". Mine is Friday, or was - replied "no" to this mornings text as feel it would be irresponsible to collect as i am non-essential.

    2020 Shipping Movements

I called Thursday, and the guy that answered the phone agreed that mine needed updating as it was longer than 30 days since they had valued it. Not sure, but my invoice was up within a few hours with the same confirmed price (I had overegged the milage deliberately).

Give Tesla a call. I pick up at Brent X Friday, and have my final invoice. I called to check my trade in value as 30 days had expired.
