FAILED removal of lowering link. HELP

That tool definitely looks like it could help. The very first one you do I would recommend taking off the sensor and then removing the link where the link meets the strut. Then use your tool to remove the link from the sensor when it's off the car. The sensor is only held on by a screw or two...

tire pressure sensor fault message after New aftermarket wheels

Thanks Shawn. Any idea if driving around with that warning will cause the car to stop running and leave me stranded?

tire pressure sensor fault message after New aftermarket wheels

I ordered my wheels and tires through carid and what a nightmare it's been. I'm going to have to harass them now to send me new sensors that work and hope they pay for the reinstallation

tire pressure sensor fault message after New aftermarket wheels

I'm getting a 'tire pressure sensor fault' message after installing a set of new wheels. The wheels, tires, and tpms I purchased through carid.com which they guaranteed the fit. After receiving the wheels and installing them I changed the wheel confirmation from a 19" to 21". The system...

Tesla Model S Air Suspension Ride Height Sensor $50 each side

It looks like Tesla went from two separate pieces (metal ball screw to green link) to a plastic one piece in 2016+. That's why I'm guessing this is probably happening more to ppl with 2016+. Lesson learned for me is to use a set of needle nose plyers at the base of the ball for support when...

FAILED removal of lowering link. HELP

Blox. I had the locking pin removed. I think the lesson learned when removing links in general is that a pair of needle nose plyers should be used at the base of the ball joint when removing. This would have applied support to the ball joint and the pressure of pulling the link off the ball...

Tesla Model S Air Suspension Ride Height Sensor $50 each side

These still available? Do you know if the sensors are any different for 2012 - 2016 vs 2016+?

FAILED removal of lowering link. HELP

I'm pretty new to the Tesla universe. Is this a part I can just get and replace? I def thought about drilling threw and getting a ball joint replacement

FAILED removal of lowering link. HELP

I was attempting to remove my lowering link in preparation to bring it to a service center and the ball joint snapped on me. I was supporting the ball joint with plyers and pulled with my hand and heard a snap. Not sure what to do now. Thoughts?

Cars looking good! What offset you have on your wheels? How are you liking a 30 profile? Enough to keep the wheel safe?
