lol, You are really tracking it! Houston Delivery says the car is due in "Mid-next week"... I don't expect it until Thursday/ Friday next week. What Id be curious to know is if the cars are coming from Fremont or are they being staged out of Las Vegas for now?

yep. They said it takes 48-72 hours after you provide your Insurance with the Vin listed for the temp plates to come through. I wonder if they would still home deliver without the plates and just email it when their contractor gets it. Geez....Gov. Abbot and Co really dont want Tesla to...

Ours is still showing Mar 29th @ 12:01 am... Im sure this ours is going to be pushed back. How long did it take for you to get your temporary plate confirmation?

Yeah, it is a little wonky, but here is how we figured out what was going on. We kept reviewing the Tesla page to see if an MVPA was uploaded after we cleared all the financial stuff. The page basically halts on the insurance page. I ended up emailing the delivery person in Las Vegas to figure...

Im fairly confused. I emailed the Tech and he said its possible for an EOQ delivery if I fully fund the purchase... but he said possible and didnt even give me a delivery date.... Did yall have to go through this too? Im surprised how disjointed all of this is, but I guess Ive got to give them...

I can/ have lived with out a liner + homelink. Id guess the logic behind not providing the 14-50 adapter is that most people will either have pay ~$x00 to install the HPWC or 14-50 adapter.... so what is an extra $35 bucks for a whole adapter pack. Lightly irritating but O'well.

Is it a new thing for Tesla to no supply the 14-50 adapter? Most of the Model 3 videos online show it as a standard provided plug?

Congrats! I wonder if they are spreading the car around in Texas. Makes sense to deliver a few to various markets vs saturating one market. Anyone in Houston get a LRAWD in the last few days or planned in the upcoming days? :)

When we put our trade-in info down.. the tesla site had a blue text saying valid for "30 days"

Im not sure if the delivery folks work weekends, especially with all the mess going on. Next update will likely be on Monday.

Got another email, this time from a Tesla inside delivery specialist. Nice guy, he is helping us set up for financial readiness. I guess my position is going to be, no VIN number + confirmed delivery date = no money?

Yes, I believe if your trade in paperwork is in order, you should be able to trade in your car and pick up the new car. Id call the delivery center
