that’s a huge seem gap with your PPF. The two pieces should be touching edge to edge. I’d definitely have that redone after the bumper repair.

yeah. Mine was done in two pieces cause I went stealth. Installers at OCD also confirmed they can’t wrap the MY mirrors in one piece. was your front bumper done in one piece or two?

did they wrap your side mirrors in one or two piece? front bumper one or two piece?

NorCal here and was quoted $5-5.5k for Xpel stealth.

I went with Stek Dynomatt cause it has built in hydrophobic coating in the film so there was no need for ceramic. I feel like Stek looks more satin vs matte due to the hydrophobic layer.

I have a Rava for my 19 month and pipa lite LX with base for my 1 month old installed. I Haven’t tried folding down the middle but it looks like it will. I’ll have to confirm when I get home in the evening

Just got LLUMAR IRX 35% front doors, 50% rear doors and windshield. No problems with the installation since they do many Tesla windshields

Are you guys able to do one piece PPF on the taller MY side mirrors? Two well known installers near me say they can’t and that two piece goes on better.

My mirrors have a seam as well but looks better than yours. Front lower bumper also has a seam. Apparently the MY mirrors are taller than M3 so they couldn’t do them in one piece according to a couple of local XPEL installers around me. I went Stealth for my PPF

Got it. I saw Early model Ys had holes in the trunk and frunk for the emblems. Hopefully that won’t be the case with my build.

Did you reuse all the emblems over the PPF? How’s it sticking to the ceramic coat if you did?

VIN 17XXX I picked up mine on Thursday at the factory and it was pretty damn good, panel gaps and all. I was surprised myself. It’s hit or miss with these MYs. I wouldn’t cancel your order until you see your assigned vehicle.

maybe because locals picking up at the factory go through “Express Pickup”. Cars will be parked in numbered stalls when we arrive. Hopefully all goes smooth

I got Express pickup scheduled for the 24th and it's asking me to pay the amount due to confirm. I would like to inspect at least the exterior of the car before giving them any money. Can I still reject after paying the amount due while at inspection?

I just seen a car carrier with multiple MY in msm and white with white interior. Both performance and non. Hopefully my MSM /white interior PUP will be delivered soon

I had MSM/Black PUP and changed to MSM/White PUP in March. I guess I could’ve had a black interior much sooner
