So I went to my local service center today for an issue and asked about part 1494009-00-C. They didn’t have that number in their system but did have 1494009-00-A (in stock) and 1494009-00-B (not in stock). Haven’t seen mention of 1494009-00-B hmm

Tesla Service kept my Y for a few days when it happened and couldn’t find anything. Suggestion was to keep an eye on it but the issue went away on its own and haven’t had it happen since. Figured it was a software bug that resolved itself.

Yes! This was very important to me as well that they don’t look hideous or have logos all over them. This one fits snug, no logos, and straps are mostly invisible from the back and front as well. I’m pretty sure they were from Amazon but will have to check to find the link.

It does disable the rear sensors and auto steer/navigate on autopilot, I believe. It seems that with a bike rack, we aren’t supposed to enable Trailer Mode... the rear sensors go nuts but I’m not sure if there is any consequence other than the visual indicator.

I noticed the same thing when I have trailer mode enabled and my bike rack Installed (No electrical connection). I’m assuming that since red means electrical fault detected, it’s letting me know there is no electrical connection and is normal? I agree that this is confusing if it is expected...

I’ve absolutely observed this in my Y. The music volume lowers when I get to a stop light and then raises back up when the car gets going. It doesn’t bother me but is quite noticeable and was surprised as I didn’t see a setting for it like other cars have.

I use the munchkin one and place a black hand towel underneath to help reduce imprint on the seat. No issues after a couple years.

Great news! It looks like the cover isn’t meant to easily be taken off and put back on... I hope someone will make a trim piece to finish the opening better.
