    HPWC/breaker almost caught fire...thoughts?

    I messed up. Assuming you have the correct wire guage #6 for a 60A breaker, are the breakers new? Was the replacement breaker new, and rated for 60 Amps? The only thought that comes to mind is get a different electrician. Something is drawing more current than the circuit can handle.
