Long-time lurker, first post because my 8-month-old Model 3 shows pretty bad paint abrasions below the rear doors where there is a bit of the body that protrudes from the door itself (see pics). Asked Tesla for repair and they answer that it isn't under warranty because this is paint...
How did it go? I have the tesla offer kit ready for installation but I also have ordered the homelink kit that I will need to have installed by the SC. Should I wait until that is done before installing the frunk kit?
