UPDATE: I'm on Android and downloaded the Volume Lock app. Works great. The Tesla audio system is still trying very hard, but the Volume Lock app wins the battle. lol

I tried this and at first it was working. Once I Ieft the car and returned it went right back to killing the volume whenever a new track begins playing

These are the additional reasons why I did not hack the factory mirror. It can go back on in 20 minutes if needed. You can legally drive a Jeep with the doors and mirrors off so the real question is will I get pulled over? Probably not for that anyway. It took some getting used to, but...

I just got it done and haven't experimented with that yet. For the passenger side it would be nice to serve as a parking camera since that's where you really need it.

I have not done the other side yet, but once I do I'll post the data. I would think that it would make a difference for a 200 mile highway trip
