Lowered the front about 10mm and the pinging is back, louder than initial. I’m going to try to spray brake cleaner as suggested above and will report back later. Although I don’t think it was ever lubricated in the first place so not sure if that would really help.

Getting some new rattles in the rear after a coilover install. When I hit bumps something is rattling. What are the usual suspects to check after a rear suspension change?

Happy to report the pinging has subsided after some driving. I guess the springs just needed some time to seat itself. Now to dial in the height.

Are Teflon rings essentially the same as thrust sheets? Looks like some people installed these and fixed the binding issue allowing the springs to rotate freely.

I do have the fronts at 4mm above MPP recommended starting height giving me 3 full fingers gap. I usually have the shop do it but maybe I can try lowering it first to see if it can seat the spring better. How do you lower the front coilovers? Does the load and wheels need to be off?

Just installed some comfort coils and I’m getting the same exact noise. Did you guys ever resolve this?

putting on some non adjustable comforts on my p3d this weekend. does anyone know roughly what the spring perch offset is front and back if you want an even 1" drop all around?

2018 P3D zero issues aside from the occasional software reboots. This car is reliable as heck, but it's still fairly new to really judge.
