    Door ding on new car

Look into a paint-less dent repair service, I've used them (on a non Tesla) and the results were great. You can paint a chip easily, it's the dent that catches the eye. I feel your pain! it's the reason I park in the middle of nowhere.

95+ score and no FSD Beta today?

With a score of 95 my car just got FSD beta today. This is my second time testing, my previous model 3 SR+ had FSD beta which doesn't transfer.

    Model 3 Performance Waiting Room

I just wanted to chime in with my delivery experience and build quality; there's so much negativity posted about getting a bad build or a bad delivery experience. I get it; you get a car without issues and delivery was good so why bother hanging out on the forums? You're too busy pinching...

    Model 3 Performance Waiting Room

Sorry, order date was last Friday the 14th. Build date was 1/10/22 according to my SA. No Ryzen or lithium 12V battery.

    Model 3 Performance Waiting Room

Not a very good photo, taken with night mode with my Iphone just now.

    Model 3 Performance Waiting Room

I don't know, blown away by it. I asked the SC delivery guy and he said that it might have been ordered by someone else and they weren't ready, my configuration matched and I got it. I checked all of the boxes, M3P, Red, White interior, FSD.

    Model 3 Performance Waiting Room

Just picked up my 2022 M3P today and it doesn't look lowered like the lead photo in the configurator. I've been driving an SR+ with 18" aeros for almost 2 years and expected the ride on the 20" wheels to be harsh; my wife and I thought it was a smoother ride!

    Model 3 Performance Waiting Room

I ordered my M3P on Friday 1/14, the site said for March delivery. I got a text the following Sunday, your VIN is here, complete your pre-delivery tasks! I got caught up in all this talk about the new Ryzen chip and gave my SA a call, she said the Ryzen chip has not been officially announced...

Model 3 SR+ LFP Battery Range, Degradation, etc Discussion

Yes, the app indicated 196 mi and as a test I charged to 100% and it ended up at 206 mi! I never let it sit at 100% so I then drove the car down to 80%. I think your theory of what might have happen seems valid, in the summer our garage gets pretty warm and my car spent a lot of time at 80%! A...

Model 3 SR+ LFP Battery Range, Degradation, etc Discussion

It will be 2 years old this May. You seem pretty knowledgeable about NCA batteries, could this be just because it's sitting in a cold garage? When I move the slider it now shows I have 196 miles at 100% this morning. It's 55f in our garage. I fully understand that cold reduces driving range...

Model 3 SR+ LFP Battery Range, Degradation, etc Discussion

On my daily trek I usually run it down to around 50%, so it's charged back to 80% in just a few hours and sits at 80% overnight. The car is always garaged, however over the summer months it can get to the high 90's inside during the day. Yes, an RV7a and yes we built and also painted it, our...

Model 3 SR+ LFP Battery Range, Degradation, etc Discussion

No, we live in northern Arizona and the temps run about 15f lower that Phoenix. I drive a 90 mile route 3 - 4 times a week for business then charge in my garage. I rarely supercharge, about 10 times in the 19,800 miles since new.

Model 3 SR+ LFP Battery Range, Degradation, etc Discussion

My 2020 SR+ that started around 250 miles new is now showing a full charge at 201. I've read so much about this over the last year and was in the "set it to percentage and forget about it" mindset, but now I just don't know. This is nearly a 20% drop. I've done all of the suggestions on this...

Lost all Supercharger locations with 2021.44.25.2-V11

Glad to hear they fixed it for you! These are great cars.

Lost all Supercharger locations with 2021.44.25.2-V11

Tesla fixed it, I've been waiting for weeks at a 100% safety rating and they finally pushed FSD beta V10.8 which fixed the issue!

Lost all Supercharger locations with 2021.44.25.2-V11

Yes, Tesla support had me do a two wheel reboot and then a shut down. I will check again in the morning, I've had new firmware problems solved by waiting overnight.

Lost all Supercharger locations with 2021.44.25.2-V11

After updating to 2021.44.25.2 last night I noticed that when I select Navigate -> Charging the list only is populated with EVgo chargers, no Tesla Superchargers! Yes, I do have the two and three "lightning bolts" selected. I contacted Tesla support via phone and they said they would work on...

What percentage of Model 3s are "lemons"

This is good advise! My SR+ lumbar support control died on day 5 of the test drive, I loved the car so much I kept it and scheduled for service. Fast forward several weeks and my computer died, black screen and the A/C was running full blast! Tesla SC told me there were 100 cars in front of me...

    A/C vibration

I agree with M109rider, if it's common to all of these cars I'm not concerned. For me, I think if this were a car with an ICE I might not have thought about it in the first place. I was demonstrating summons for a group of friends, one commented on how cool the car sounds when it's moving. I...

    A/C vibration

I have the same issue on my new 2020 model 3 SR+. The buzz and vibration is worse when it's hot and the A/C has to ramp up to high settings. I live in Arizona and daytime temperatures in my garage are always > 90F in the summertime. Touching the bottom edge of the display I can feel the...

    A/C vibration

I had just drove it home from delivery and our garage didn't have a 14-50 outlet, so I had to park in our hangar. I've since pulled the wire and installed a 14-50 outlet in the garage. I really love these cars! Tom

    A/C vibration

Seems like a plausible explanation, I'm taking it into service for a problem with the drivers side lumbar support, I'll ask them to look into it. Thanks.

    A/C vibration

I just bought a new model 3 standard range plus last week and noticed the same thing. At first startup there's a rumble and if you feel the edge of the display you can feel a vibration, after a few minutes it fades. It seems like it's the A/C compressor and that it might me hard mounted. I'm...
