I had the same issue. My SC used PDR to fix the dent. I had to redo the PPF on the frunk but other than that it was an easy fix.

I just had a mobile service and asked the guy about the the paint mismatch. He said it’s within spec. I have another service scheduled at a SC. I will ask them again to see what they say. I still like the car so much even with this paint mismatch.

Just picked up my MY (vin 127xx) today. I am very happy with the car. I rejected 1st due to fit and finish issues. This one had some minor issues but the SC took care of most of the issues I discovered.

You should check out the photos of my 1st car that I refused to take delivery on page 2 of this post. Not sure how it passed the QC. A total nightmare! I wasn’t able to post them all btw. This is totally different car buying experience (very stressful one~).

It shouldn’t take you too long to get a new VIN assigned (~7 days). Mine took only 4 days. Only problem is second one still has some issues (not as much as 1st), so I wasn’t able to pick it up even after 2 trips to the SC. My delivery agent said they will not fix taillight, paint dust, and frunk...

You just have to provide new mvpa doc to your lender and they will provide you new loan security agreement for you to e-sign again. Make sure you inform your lender that you are rejecting the car and you will provide new mvpa once you receive it.

Much better this time! Very happy with the new car. Few minor gap issues, but nothing major. I left the car at the SC to get those issues fixed and re-scheduled delivery for tomorrow.

I refused mine on Tuesday (vin 43xx), assigned new vin 127xx on Friday, and scheduled to go in for the delivery this afternoon. It won’t take you long to get assigned with a new vin. Good luck!

I had same experience last Saturday. I was re-scheduled to take the delivery one week later. After further consideration, I decided to reject the delivery on Tuesday. Now I have a new VIN assigned.

I think you should ask SC and get it documented. It will bother me as well when ever I look at it.
