Our Model 3, 2 years later

I mentioned the model 3 seat comfort on this forum a few weeks ago. The general feeling was that the seats are very comfortable but I don't find them so. I get butt ache after an hour! My butt is skinny too so perhaps that's the problem!

Our Model 3, 2 years later

I have a 2020 model 3 LR dual motor. When charged to 100% shows a range of 301 miles. Does the car calculate the range taking into account the ambient temperature?

    Model 3 comfort.

It's funny you should say that. Our recent warm UK weather has convinced us that cooling seats would be an advantage even here in the UK.

Perhaps if I remove the front section of the glass roof and sit on two or three cushions it will solve my aching butt?

    Model 3 comfort.

I know what you mean about a torn tendon. I tore my left one 40 years ago! This isn't the one that's the problem though. I will try your suggestion though and think about my foot position. Thanks

    Model 3 comfort.

I think what you say is right. It's such a disappointment having been looking forward to the car for many months. I like the car otherwise.

    Model 3 comfort.

Just by way of comparison, the height from the floor to the top of the seat in the M3 is 9.75" and in my Discovery Sport 15.5" that's a big difference.

    Model 3 comfort.

I have tried always but still not the most comfy car a I have driven. I wouldn't want to drive more than an hour in it.

Perhaps they have shrunk it for the UK market!

    Model 3 comfort.

Although I've only had my model 3 lr since early March and I have only done 1000 miles, my impression of the car is that it is somewhat uncomfortable. I am 6' tall and find on journeys of over 45 mins, I am beginning get butt ache and an aching in my achilles tendon in my right leg. As the...
