Clanking noise from rear [car is bagged]

Any update on this? I've been having this issue on my 2017 model S for 6+ months now. I took the car in to Tesla 4 times but each time, they denied that they can duplicate the noise even after the technician recognized during the test drive with me.

    AP2 (HW2) to HW3 (no MCU2 upgrade)

You seems to know better. As long as MCU2 upgrade is successful and everything works as intended, I don't care about getting a new instrument cluster. Will find out soon enough.

    AP2 (HW2) to HW3 (no MCU2 upgrade)

    AP2 (HW2) to HW3 (no MCU2 upgrade)

Checking with my service manager now. I will report back when I hear back. I agree with you, keeping both instrument cluster AND touch screen isn't worth $250 savings.

    AP2 (HW2) to HW3 (no MCU2 upgrade)

Howdy everyone. Tesla Model S newby owner here. I purchased 2017 S CPO from the Tesla dealer last week and they just did a FSD HW3.0 upgrade on my car today. The dealer also offered MCU2.0 upgrade for slightly reduced price of $2250 pre-tax if I'm willing to keep my existing touch screen...
