    Model Y for Canada!

@Sixth Yep those are stock Continentals. This is the most recent consolidated thread around the 241's. Anyone bought Replica r241 19x9.5 for their new Model Y? | Tesla Motors Club Wow almost at 80K VIN, time has gone by fast in this thread. Congrats to every new/soon-to be Y owner!

    Winter Tires?

The winter wheel package offered by Tesla will fit the Performance. To be honest, I think the only reason they exist is for an easy, overpriced winter option for Performance models. I gonna assume V rating because that's what it reads on the enlarged image.

    Winter Tires?

I got the same VikingContact 7 as @seniorcitizen. I'm quite happy with the performance and price. I was able to grab them off blackcircles.ca early September for $93 CDN per tire. I have them mounted on the Gemini/Apollo wheels and are noticeably quiet. I was gonna go with the gold standard...

    Aero Wheel Cap Kit

I posted some pics of my Y with the Gemini Wheel Cap Kit in the Pics of white Y with and without Gemini covers thread. On page one of that same thread, there's a picture of the wheel with the aero cap kit installed. Cheers!

    Aero Wheel Cap Kit

The cap kits are interchangeable as long as you stick with the factory lugs. As for the wheel lock it probably varies. The lock shape and height may not work with the plastic cap. The kits are pricey but are good quality. Both look good on the naked Gemini wheel.

Regen Braking Temporarily Reduced - Every time

@HeyEph, I ran into a similar issue and had a SC appointment to look at it. They ended up replacing the Battery System Control Unit. Essentially I was getting the Regen dialogue non stop once the temperatures got colder. At one point my regen was weak sauce and never got any stronger as the...

    Financing Tesla vehicles in Canada

@canadianeh Great job on the downpayment! The interest is front loaded key term amortization in the finance documentation. The MAX cost of financing is identified, you will never pay the bank more than this amount. If you pay out earlier or make lump sum payments into the principal the cost...

    Financing Tesla vehicles in Canada

Financing is generally front loaded. You'll eat about 80% of the 84 months total interest in the first 4 years.

    Financing Tesla vehicles in Canada

@Gioreyes94, Lazy/sloppy wording/updates on the Tesla website. There are no buyout options for the 3 and Y, you have to return the vehicle. Only the X and S have buyout options. Lease-End Options

Anyone bought Replica r241 19x9.5 for their new Model Y?

@PhantomY Car and Username match, looks sick! @Mollydek Thanks, like most things she's imperfectly perfect. Wheels are Satin Black and do have a gloss. I feel the inductions are the optimal choice from a visual perspective but finances & usability are my priorities. I was an early order so...

Anyone bought Replica r241 19x9.5 for their new Model Y?

I have the 35mm offset on mine. The 45mm option might be new (matches stock gemini specs), I don't recall seeing it last month. Both will work on the model Y, the 35 mm will stick out slightly more (around 10mm). The wheels have a slight concave face so it works well. I uploaded a pic on Page...

    Paint Mismatch Survey

19****, Front and rear bumpers are definitely a warmer hue. Looks identical to @Kahuna555 During a walk with the dog, I checked out other white front/rear bumpers. It's at least 60% mismatches. Every manufacturer is guilty, the best match I saw was a Chevy Aveo - near perfect wtf. After awhile...

    Model Y for Canada!

The shop I went to mentioned the same but not limited to the model Y. He showed a few pictures where the front fender peeled (model 3 - none of his projects yet) but mentioned XPEL has been directing him to give prospective customers a heads up.

    Model Y for Canada!

@dontblinkdoc Darn! Shouldn't take much longer and yes the waiting game sucks. It's an amazing car and I'm seriously thinking about the Tow Hitch now. Here's a new shot of mine with PPF, Ceramic and Replika 241 wheels.

Post delivery after market Must Have's????

Easy options are baby wipes when you notice transfer right away. I've had success with raw denim but ymmv as Tesla is committed to CI. Haven't tried it yet but using a diluted de-greaser to clean heavy/set stains will work. You can check out Like Tesla's videos with your wife for a Women's...

    Financing Tesla vehicles in Canada

I would call RBC and ask if there's any way to get a lower rate as a start. They might say Yes right then and you'll save yourself time and effort.

    White on White..Perf..FSD..VIN 19xxx

@awedio_femi Sweet! I also have a W/W FSD 19xxx VIN but Long Range. Based on the dealerships photos mine looks pretty consistent with yours. Pictures are in the Model Y in Canada thread.

    Model Y for Canada!

Mine arrived in Calgary on Tuesday. Waiting for delivery to Edmonton. Attached are the dealer shots so lighting isn't the best but panel gaps looked good enough. Paint looked okay, will find out next week.

Another Scotia approval - 2.65@72 months Just ping your Service Advisor to look into Scotia if you don't get it as the first option. I was originally given a RBC option - 3.3@96 months with additional $5000 back (baked into loan amount). Just told them it was unacceptable as i didn't ask for...
