    Opt out arbitration clause

I searched the forums for this and only found it related to the autos. Have any of you opted out of arbitration after signing the agreement? Looks like you can do it for 30 days after signing. Not sure if it's worth it.

    Post Your Tesla Solar Layout

I suppose that really is my question. Just whether they are doing it or not or only doing it in specific scenarios like uneven shade on the roof.

Is anyone getting any details on installs with power optimizers?

    Post Your Tesla Solar Layout

I had the same issue for 2 days. I called Tesla this morning and they were able to move the doc to the completed section so I could download it. Took all of 10 minutes.

Considering solar panels, looking for sizing/financing advice

Right now I'm not planning on powerwalls. The longest power outage I can remember in my lifetime in Utah was maybe 12 hours. We have a pretty reliable grid in no small part from lack of insane weather (not to rub it in!)... although wildfires are unsurprisingly getting much worse. In the winter...

Considering solar panels, looking for sizing/financing advice

Our home was built in 2016 by a builder focused on energy and green so it's heavily insulated and sealed very well. Definitely a big reason on why our usage is relatively low. Yeah, the tax credit... complete roll of the dice.

Considering solar panels, looking for sizing/financing advice

So we have a Model 3 and a Chevy Volt (had the Volt for years so our usage definitely accounts for the Volt) but our energy usage over the last several months is all out of wack because of the pandemic and I only got the M3 around October of last year so it's not very easy to figure out my real...

Considering solar panels, looking for sizing/financing advice

Thank you! Yes, I realize I am using the terms interchangeably and it is not correct. Thank you for the quick and easy clarification. This size should cover about 105% of our annual use. We have a net metering program in Utah that pays a bit less than what we are charged for (about $0.09 per...

Good idea for a thread. Here's my layout that I just got back from Tesla yesterday. I am planning to move forward as is.

My bad, I meant to just load the pic as opposed to the pdf. Fixed!

Considering solar panels, looking for sizing/financing advice

Well that was easy. I called them up and the guy was able to move the document to the completed section that allowed me to download it. Works out to 340 watts per panel for the size and about 447 watts in annual generation per panel.

Pulled the trigger on Solar in Dallas, Texas

Wow, I thought CA has a ton of incentives. Good to know.

Pulled the trigger on Solar in Dallas, Texas

Just placed the order for 8.16 kw system in Utah. We shall see. I can't imagine a $6k rebate from the utility. Utah is not very good on environmental policies...ugh

Tesla releases new solar panel, slashes prices

I'm in Utah and was thiiiis close to buying an 8.56 kw system for roughly 24k from a local installer and I stumbled across the Tesla pricing changes. Utah is not very friendly with incentives on "green" tech/updates and I don't think pricing is very competitive here but if these panels are...
