I had similar symptoms, it was upper control arms which were replaced under warranty. They also did the lower lateral links.

I typically get it after going through the car wash. WD-40 fixes it right up until the next time I go through.

OP isn't supercharging, and there have been studies done that indicate that a lot of supercharging isn't as bad for the batteries as originally thought.

I don't think you really mean that 80% of the actual driving is consumed by preconditioning, My experience over 48k miles and many road trips is, it's a few percentage points over the course of a trip, and it's made up for by being able to get max charge rate when you stop to charge, shortening...

You have to be navigating somewhere. So, sit in your car and enter a destination. Then you will see in the bottom card, next to End Trip, the '...' Hit that then settings.

I wish I had gone with the white seats tbh. They look great with DBM exterior. I didn't get them originally because I hated the white plastic dash piece vs the wood trim on the black interior. Didn't realize I could easily swap that out for a wood trim piece. Next time.

I sat in the new M3 yesterday for the first time, while my MY was in for service. If I had a choice, I would absolutely wait for the updated MY version. The interior of the new M3 is so much nicer, much higher quality feel, and the exterior changes are great too, other than the fog light delete...

I have to say - driving in the rain yesterday, the wipers weren't terrible for change. I know there have been reports from Tesla that they have an update for them coming, I wonder if that was part of 2024.2.7? It's not a documented part of that release, but they definitely seemed to be better...

Just had my car repaired today. They did upper control arms and lateral links on both sides. Car is nice and tight again, and quiet! Only hitch was that I noticed driving home that the steering wheel was slightly off-center when going straight. Took it back and they fixed it.

This. You have to remember that RWD MY's for the US and other markets may have different specs.

I'm taking my car in for this issue next week. It seems to be only on the driver's side. Will they replace both? I'm at 47k, so warranty repair but would rather have both done....

Whatever. My point is the same. As a stockholder I'd rather see them focus on something else besides a few CCS retrofits. Maybe fixing the autowipers. Or getting the Cybertruck updated with Autopilot. Or getting the new 'Model 2' out.

Why? If NACS is a 'standard', using the Tesla plug, one should just be able to access charging either through an account such as EA, or by paying with a credit card. CCS doesn't enter into the equation.

I would not hold my breath for a CCS retrofit, tbh. The M3's that don't support it are now approaching 5 years old, and there are relatively few MY's that don't support it (a small time period that I noted in a post above, during the supply chains issues in the late pandemic period). Looking at...

I have the adapter but it's really a 'belt and suspenders' deal if you're travelling in most of the lower 48 states.

I just use baby wipes on the seats. They look great! But I do wonder what should be used on the wood strip on the dash.... I do dust it but because it's kind of an open pore cut, it tends to snag the Swifter and leave little pieces in the wood....
