Wiki Consolidated eMMC Thread (MCU repair) (Black Center Screen)

Well but I did build the new eMMC image with a stock image of 2020.24.6.11, not the original customer partition. Did you copy over p4 when it didn't work?

Wiki Consolidated eMMC Thread (MCU repair) (Black Center Screen)

I saw people read the eMMC image from the untouched Tegra board in a prepared MCU via ethernet or USB. Can somebody give me a hint on that? EDIT: Okay stupid me didnt think further. I should be able to SSH in with the original MCU password (tesla1) and dump those files. BUT, problem is: Our...

Wiki Consolidated eMMC Thread (MCU repair) (Black Center Screen)

Thanks, I will check and report back. Is there a way to factory-reset the MCU via SSH or Telnet? Also, can I dump the whole eMMC image via ssh/telnet? If yes, do I need to put the MCU in a special mode for that? I also heard about the USB port on the Logicboard, can I do the upper via this...

The car had 2020.24.6.11 running (and running fine), so I created...

Let the hacking begin... (Model S parts on the bench)

Hey Dave. Thanks for the answer. So what do I do if I have a Unit with a damaged firmware partition on the bench? For example, I now have a unit that had 2020.16.2.1 e99c70fff409 last active according to the app. The emmc is dead and I need to rebuild the two firmware partitions. is there any...

Let the hacking begin... (Model S parts on the bench)

Hey all, I have been reading for some time and learned a lot from this board. So thank you everybody who is contributing! I have been tinkering with a spare MCU for a few weeks already and I understand more and more each day, but one thing I still couldn't figure out is how to get specific...
