TPMS disable / delete on Model S 2012 to late 2014 "Baolong"

Success! I put the old ECU on the bench to see what messages it is sending. It had only 4 pins numbered 1 through 4. I took a guess that pin 1 was still ground with pin 2 being +12V. I then measured the voltage between ground and the remaining two pins to determine that one was CAN+ and one...

TPMS disable / delete on Model S 2012 to late 2014 "Baolong"

Another update. I was able to get under the car and remove the Baolong TPMS ECU. Once it was unplugged, the regular once per second all-zero messages on 0x31f ceased. And the 'reset failed' message that says "Tire pressure monitor sensors were not reset. Would you like to try again?" stopped...

    Rear Coil Spring Suspension

My old S had a blown shock when I bought it. I purchased replacement suspension modules for all four corners from autobahnparts.com The parts were used, of course. I was told the donor vehicle had about 25,000 miles on it. Price was $250 each. All work perfectly. They have two rear units...

TPMS disable / delete on Model S 2012 to late 2014 "Baolong"

I have 2014 Model S with the Baolong TPMS system. A long time ago, it started giving an error that says something like "sensor fault may clear next drive". I immediately went out and spent $240 replacing all 4 TPMS sensors but the error didn't go away. Tesla service said that the issue is with...
