It was a much better experience this time around. Car was in great shape (one minor suction cup mark they were able to buff out), but otherwise perfect. So relieved and loving the car!

Second delivery was such a better experience! Car was in great shape. Had one minor issue with one of the suction cup marks from assembly, but they were able to buff it out. Everything else a was in great shape. I do have the auto dimming mirrors but black interior FWIW.

Thanks! Really happy it worked out well for you and that you’re loving your car. It looks fantastic! The service manager called me on Friday to update me and again today. Said the car has passed inspection and it’s in good shape. I’m hopeful but a bit nervous this time around.

FWIW my second delivery estimate was updated this morning from September 15-18 (no new VIN or any contact from Tesla). Now it says September 19-25.

Just said they’ll keep an eye out to match with a new VIN. No timeframe given and that’s fine. I have no issue waiting so long as the car I receive is in acceptable condition.

I'm taking mine 5 days before battery day. I figure if there is any significant update they'll probably adjust the price, so it's all relative.

I was able to update this by using the live chat on Tesla’s website. They unlocked it and I was able to change payment method.

Received a call from SA today. He estimated mid September delivery. Ordered 7/22 M3P Blue/Black east coast.

My order page now says they are drafting up my contract. I hadn't applied for financing because I just received the text on Monday telling me another 4-7 weeks. Anyone know if there's an easy way to update this?

I don’t think anyone really knows for sure, but I think the consensus speculation is likely not anything significant for 3 or Y. I’ve heard rumors about potential heat pump in the 3, but who knows.
