Tesla-Friendly Car Washes Near Aldie, VA

All quiet here, but I also posed this question elsewhere and there were two recommendations: the Flaghship in South Riding and the Sheetz in Sterling. I ended up going to the South Riding Flagship. I was hoping to get away with just a basic wash, but ended up paying much more given the extent of...

Tesla-Friendly Car Washes Near Aldie, VA

Hi, anyone familiar with car washes experienced in cleaning Teslas in the Aldie, Virginia area? I drove here from Boston, Massachusetts, and my car was due for a wash even well before this drive. I typically handwash my Model 3 and am paranoid about the quality of carwash facilities given the...

    Screw you, Model 3

Thanks for the explanation. And wow, just an Uber voucher? My Advisor was telling me that his service center offers loaner cars for service that takes 3 hours or more.

Waiting until after battery day to order...

What I don't understand is, why did Tesla start producing a redesigned frunk without the heat pump? Why not produce a redesigned with a heat pump?

    Screw you, Model 3

What do Tesla service centers charge for a tire rotation? And alignment? Are those two separate services?

Taking delivery 3 weeks before battery day...

What about the recent Model 3 frunk redesign and what that may mean (heat pump? which means a bit more range?)? As far as I'm aware, Tesla hasn't commented on that, and I'm wondering when they will. Maybe on Battery Day?

SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

So has everyone that's taken delivery in the last few weeks received a Model 3 with the "beaded" frunk and other design changes that people have been chatting about online this week? If so, has your Sales Advisor said/explained anything about the changes?

Redesign? New frunk, headlights and power trunk?

Thanks, @SCalEV and @PNWLeccy! Nice catch, indeed on the website. Regarding the note on the website: so what are we supposed to do if we have a beaded frunk!?

    All-Weather Floor Mats Compared - [Model 3]

Yes. The WeatherTech logo is printed on the bottom-side of those liners.

    All-Weather Floor Mats Compared - [Model 3]

What are the "Tesla-branded" ones? I'm pretty sure the mats and liners sold on Tesla's website are made by WeatherTech.

Redesign? New frunk, headlights and power trunk?

OK, now the important question: does the Weathertech Model 3 Frunk liner (sold on Tesla website) fit the new frunk!?

    Most current delivery checklist?

Bump. Anyone have a recently updated, thorough checklist they have used for a recent delivery?

    Mass Inspections near Peabody

Do you think you got to stay in the car and drive it due to COVID precautions? Or if that's how High Street Service normally operates? Thanks.

    What’s the best Charge Percent

Those are helpful explanations. From what I understand, you can set a percentage charging limit, so to your point @Rocky_H, the charging would stop once the limit is achieved, even if the car is still plugged in. Thank you, all!

    What’s the best Charge Percent

Just read through this thread. Whoa ! What I don't understand about the Model 3 manual language ("The most important way to preserve the Battery is to LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE PLUGGED IN when you are not using it") is how to reconcile this with charging percentage advice. Is Tesla saying that...

@BrianDS, I've got the same question! Where did you end up going?

Buying M3. Any last advice from you'all before I jump?

I understand that. Though if you had received the vehicle via an "order", it seems you wouldn't have received the incentives, since based on what I'm reading in threads, incentives are only offered to those who buy "inventory" (to help move that unsold inventory).

Buying M3. Any last advice from you'all before I jump?

To be sure, the incentives you received were for a vehicle you purchased through existing inventory, not a new order, right?

Model 3 1yr free SC for deliveries through 6/30? Details inside.

I see. Thank you all for the explanations. I live in an urban environment in an apartment, and at home charging is not an option for me, so I guess I view any free charging, especially at the fastest speed (ie, Supercharging), as a great deal.

Model 3 1yr free SC for deliveries through 6/30? Details inside.

Hi Clark_Kent, why do you say that this is not an amazing incentive? I'm new to the Tesla world, so this sounds like a great perk to me, but maybe I'm missing something...

Buying M3. Any last advice from you'all before I jump?

Are the incentives only applicable to sales of cars in inventory (versus new builds)? It seems that way based on the example I read on this forum from the past couple of months where some people received one year of free Supercharging for purchasing a vehicle from inventory. Also, are there any...
