Elon "About to end range anxiety"

I'm beyond thrilled at the features in this update! I didn't participate in the earlier speculation in this thread, so maybe I'm biased, but seeing the announcement this morning through fresh eyes, I'm getting a huge number of features I always wanted for my car. The idea that I can just get in...

iPhone app crashes when connecting to car

An update - I turned off calendar access on my iPhone 6 and the Tesla app stopped crashing on launch and is back to working normally again. Obviously I can't try the new calendar features, but at least the rest of the app now works, perhaps others can get the same result.

iPhone app crashes when connecting to car

I'm getting the exact same thing. I have a similar setup to yours, new iPhone 6 with Firmware 6.0, but I also tried it on my soon-to-be-retired iPhone 5 and it crashes immediately after connecting as well. I tried everything you did, I also tried rebooting the car but that didn't work either. I...

All but one supercharger spots used for hotel parking

I think Tesla needs to install these in the Supercharger parking spaces: bebarmatic Automatic parking space bar: Parking Boy It could even be software-activated - just add the radio signal needed to make the barrier drop to the garage remote feature. Make it GPS-aware, and voila - a Model S...

Ordered 60kw and having some doubts now.

I have a 60, and I have no regrets. I bought the 60 to save a little money since I was loading up on quite a few options like the tech package and such. In that situation the 85 was really pushing the budget, plus it was harder to justify spending the extra money since we rarely take road trips...

Regen and Brake Lights - Highway Issue

I disagree with the OP as well. I like how the MS behaves right now. If my car is physically slowing down, I don't think the drivers behind me need to know or care *why* I'm slowing down, regardless of whether it's because of heavy regen or me hitting my brakes. The brake lights lighting up at...

    Extending Tesla lifestyle with Nest?

I have two Nests in my house, one upstairs and one downstairs. They're great. I had installed a less-expensive WiFi programmable thermostat in my previous home (this after installing a non-WiFi programmable model and not being happy with that), and my family complained about it endlessly...

    Has it dawned on anyone?

Although I think the OP makes some very good points about understanding the opposition before taking them on, I also think that Tesla can't and shouldn't try to solve this problem for the entire auto industry all by themselves. Yeah, in theory, only Tesla being allowed to go direct is "unfair" -...

My initial thoughts/feedback on my 40/60kwh Model S

I think your points are valid, and as others have said, most of them have been covered before on this board (cupholders, hill hold, grab hooks, etc.). However, one thing that comes across with your post is that you put the entire emphasis on performance and luxury, and yet wonder why some people...

What Would You Put in Your S?

The first weekend I got my MS, I needed to haul a bunch of old paint cans to the local hazardous materials dump center, and my wife's SUV was already in use. So I loaded up years of old paint from our garage into the trunk (after putting down plastic liner, of course!), and was astounded to see...
