Pic request: 245/40/19 or 265/35/19 on Rays gramlights 57DR

245 on a 9.5"w is a significant amount of stretch. Enough that it's probably not recommended unless its needed for fitment. Here is my 245/45R19 on 9.5"w geminis.

Tein EnduraPro Plus adjustable shock absorbers fitted

We set your dampers to 10 clicks from full stiff in the front, and 12 in the rear. Also trimmed the bump stops. I believe out Asst. Service Manager also sent an email with this info + alignment specs. Thank you!

Tein EnduraPro Plus adjustable shock absorbers fitted

We charge $520 for the installation, alignment is additional. Canadian dollars of course.

Tein EnduraPro Plus adjustable shock absorbers fitted

Thank you for the kind words! This was our first experience with this offering from Tein, although we have installed countless coilover kits. I'm very impressed with the ride quality that they create, especially with your 21" wheels. It's definitely a solid contender for folks that want to build...

Prospective Model 3 RWD purchase and snow/winter driving

I drive a lowered LR RWD through Canadian winters. It's manageable with a really good set of snow tires but when driving through deep snow you really have to manage your momentum and choose your lines carefully. I've only ever been stuck once, which was coming into the parking lot of the shop...

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

There is a particular process for driving a lowered car while going up steep parking lot entrances and driveways and things of that nature. Always go slow, always set the vehicle close to 45* from the bump, and ensure your wheels are straight when they go over the bump. Other than that driving...

Model Y Gemini Wheels on Model 3 Performance/Can it be done?

It will not fit without a spacer. In the front the wheel will hit the suspension upright. The rear will be OK but you definitely will need a spacer for the front. I didn't measure to see how small of a spacer would work as I was planning on going for max poke. 10 or 15mm should be plenty.

out of spec tire size and traction control

I run 245/40R19 on 19x9.5 ET25 front and ET20 rear. Traction control works just fine. Will it be as effective compared to factory sized tires? Maybe not 100%, given the parameters that were programmed into the logic are no longer correct, but it will still function when you need it to? Absolutely.

    Spacers!

Hey, I recognize your user name from Instagram! You were commenting on the pic of my 18LR with the Gemini wheels. For spacers, most people with stock wheels run a 15/20mm combo. This brings the wheel face close to flush without being too crazy. 20/25mm is doable, but more of an aggressive...

Model Y Gemini Wheels on Model 3 Performance/Can it be done?

Alignment specs are standard except for camber. The front ended up around -1.5* after lowering, I matched the rear to the front using MPP camber arms. There's no rubbing from the rear at all, and I've had the trunk loaded with 700lbs of concrete and landscaping stones. The front rubs the wheel...

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Thank you! I am heavily into Volkswagens as well and OEM+ has always been my ultimate look and feel. It's exactly what I was going after with this setup.

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Not necessarily "aftermarket" as these are Tesla Apollo wheels (what's under Model Y Gemini caps) but I figured with will help people determine offsets and fitments. Vehicle: 2018 LR RWD Fitment Specs: 19x9.5 ET45 245/40R19 Farroad FRD26 Front: 20mm spacer (effective ET25) Rear: 25mm spacer...

Model Y Gemini Wheels on Model 3 Performance/Can it be done?

I just threw these on my 2018 LR RWD. 20mm spacers in the front and 25mm spacers in the rear. Lowered on MPP coilovers. IMO perfect aggressive fitment. You can definitely go 15/20 for spacers but anything less than 10 and you will be getting pretty close to the front knuckle with the inner lip...

    Skid plate/undercarriage shield on 2022

This is the part I ordered for my 2018 LR and it fit with minor modifications as previously described. All the main bolt holes lined up though.

    Skid plate/undercarriage shield on 2022

Update: The rear-mid aero shield (between battery and rear subframe) from a 2021+ Model 3 is ALMOST a direct fit onto my 2018. Everything bolts right up except for where the shield is fixed to the rear wheel well liners. The liners have a small plastic block bracket with a speed nut which was...

    Skid plate/undercarriage shield on 2022

When the Model Y was released all of the underbody panels were plastic. They followed suit on the refresh Model 3 for 2021. They appear to be the same dimensions, the surrounding covers are still the same part numbers as pre-refresh 3's as well so I hoping they are interchangeable. I had a...

    Skid plate/undercarriage shield on 2022

I have an MPP aluminum skid plate up front and I have a plastic OEM one from a 2021+ M3 on order for the rear-mid. Hopefully it is interchangeable! Anything is better than the pressed felt that comes from the factory and for only $240CAD for the OEM plastic one it seems like a good deal.

Trying to identify what the two antenna cables on wing mirror are for?

WIFI and LTE. Gen 1 M3 has them in the side mirrors. I am not sure of where they are located in Gen 2 M3 but it's very likely that they followed the MY in design, and if that is the case then they will be located in the headliner, above where the sun visors sit when stowed.

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

I love the look of these wheels! Is the SBC the finish? Is it something Enkei offers or is it done by you? I see on their website that they list F1 silver and hyper black but the silver does not look quite like what you posted.
