Took delivery on Sunday. I must say, the wait was long (7 weeks), but the hand-off was so smooth. e-signed paperwork (< 2 minutes) the night before, the next day signed two pieces of paper, walked to the car, a few minutes of conversation, and done. So simple.

I have GEICO as well, was flat out shocked today when they quoted me an extra $1000 every 6 months to switch to my soon to be M3, WTH. Time to shop. That's just crazy. Cleanest of records, no change whatsoever except changing from a 2018 Honda Pilot to an M3.

Just ordered WeatherTech for my M3 which arrive in a few days. In my experience, you just can't beat them for quality and fit. I thought about the Tesla-branded ones but just didn't seem (via pictures I know) as durable as WT. We'll see, but I'll post back upon arrival and fitting.

Finally! Got the text this morning. I've been matched with a VIN and delivery set for 09/11 in the morning. If that holds true it would have been close to 8 weeks from Config date.

07/19 with the same text last week of 2-5 weeks. Somes like everybody received either a 2-5 or 1-4 weeks. Even those who order in August are already getting 1-4 weeks texts, which doesn't make a lot of sense, since the July group seem mainly in the 2-5 window. Either way, it seems like a wave...

Completely normal apparently. I ordered 07/19 SR+/19, received 2 update texts on delivery since then, latest one as of 08/19, I'm still 2-5 weeks out. Though I've seen others with faster turnaround so I don't know how Telsa prioritizes builds/delivery. No VIN yet.

Ordered on 07/21 - received text today (08/19) saying 2-5 weeks for delivery. Previously received a text on 08/06 saying 5-8 weeks, so definitely making progress! WOW though, you ordered on 08/08, and already getting 1-4 week delivery texts, congrats!

I guess yesterday was Telsa text day. Order my M3 SR+ on 07/19. Initial estimate at the time of purchase was 4-8 weeks, yesterday received the following "Tesla Update - We currently expect your Model 3 to be ready for delivery 5 - 8 weeks from today". Hoping that's worst case ;)
