Is it correct that most 19s will fir the performance model because the calipers are the same diameter as the LR?

If you look at how the depressions under the carpeted segments in the cargo area appear. It looks fairly obvious that the seats will be placed rear facing (Seat in the shallow underseat compartment right behind 2nd row) and passenger feet will go into the large underfloor compartment. My guess...

BTW: That style jack with the arm on the end is awful to work with....the newer scissor jacks are a lot more efficient. An extension also makes it even a bit easier to use so you are not racking your knuckles on the side of the car...

Interesting experiment. I have a kit on back-order from Modern Spare...I will do a comparison once it comes in. I'm curious about the load capacity of the tire (the MY is pretty heavy) also that of the scissor jack.
