Yes, but we aren’t talking about a few scuffs and scratches here...they are claiming that the damage to the car is so bad that it needs to go a body shop to repair the subframe. That’s a minimum $5k repair they said...not to mention the repair and parts needed afterwards by Tesla.

Here are the pics...I think that’s the bash bar with damage. It hides under this plastic piece so it couldn’t be seen without removing it.

Why would you lose miles with the car sitting in the hot sun? Is it because you have the climate control cycling on at high temperatures?

There used to be tons of cars with the free supercharging on the used Tesla site but now there is none. It changed like a week ago when they got rid of the pics. I know because I just bought a used car with free supercharging and had a lot of options.

When I got my used model S a month ago it was like ordering a pizza...come pick your car up, the keys are inside the car. I didn’t talk to anyone...now I wish I got an independent mechanic to check out the car - but that’s not an option. See my thread Used car nightmare if you want details.

You think it will ever be autonomous? Or is this all marketing hype? I just bought the car on the hopes of it someday being somewhat if not fully autonomous.

I have the FSD computer 3.0 upgrade but not the MCU infotainment upgrade...besides seeing traffic cones on your display, why else would I need the infotainment upgrade as it relates to FSD comparability...anyone?

So I watched the annual meeting this week and Elon spent about two minutes talking about autopilot and autonomous driving. He said there would be a huge software update in a month or something but quickly passed over it as if he was trying to avoid the subject. So, should I not expect my Tesla...

They have had the car in service for a couple of weeks total since I bought it...but I technically bought it 5 weeks ago so I guess im past that point. Darn! Maybe that’s why they are being so unhelpful...
