Oh something else I might add.. There is actually no reason not to do both. You can most definitely apply a ceramic coating on top of PPF, it'll give you the best of both worlds! More expensive of course. :)

I would definitely also suggest PPF for protections. Though Ceramic Coating also provides small protection it's mostly for easier cleaning and a "new look" for a longer period. With what said, it's definitely recommended to ceramic coat as soon as possible. For example, if you get som small...
