Agree - my 2020 MX has three half shafts replacements - basically every 13k. Just picked up the 2024 MX, so far it's smooth like butter but expecting this to come up again (even though the techs say the new equipment should address it..)

It sounds like the beginning of the shudder (front half shafts). I have a Mx2020 Raven and at 29k miles, already had two half shaft replacements. It gets progressively worse :/ and will likely be worse on. higher suspension setting. My UCA just went too which is why I was lurking on this thread...

Had my front half shafts replaced at 9.5k. Smooth as butter. Now at 26k and the front shafts are busted again. Just took it into the sc today and they confirmed so onto the second set. Let’s see how long these ones last… :/ anyone NOT having this problem?

Hey Napps - I have a 2020 Ravel Model X LR with OEM Conti Cross-Contact LX Sports. Tires had to be replaced at 13K miles. I've also had both half shafts replaced. TL:DR is that this is a known and common issue with the Model X (lots of threads on this issue across the forums). A bit more...

On another thread talking about the front axles breaking on the MX and another member posted this video () which is pretty recent - April 2021. The tech explains much of what's being discussed on this thread in the first 5 mins. I found it to be pretty helpful. Not sure how good the product...

Would be great to have a report back when you're closer to 10K miles. Didn't notice any shudder on my 2020 Raven LR until we were closer to 8-9K miles (20" rims).

I have a Model X LR (Aug 2020) currently @ 9K miles. Shudder is starting on acceleration from low speeds, even with suspension in "Low" (I drive with default low). Sounds like it's worth talking to Tesla SC about replacement / fix with the 2021 revision?

Thanks everyone for the info and for posting. Will keep tabs. I have a 2020MX LR and so far the fronts seem to wearing faster :/ (default low). Will have the SC redo alignment.
