    If there does end up being a new rear vent part which supports data it would still most likely work even when wired for charging only. The front hub as 2 separate plugs, one for power and one for data. I imagine they would do the same in the rear and you would just only connect the power plug...

    Yea, it probably will end up being a bit more expensive than getting pre-made from you. But I'm the type that likes to tinker and learn the skills so then other projects on the car will be easier to do myself. Not really concerned about the price. I do think it's great you're offering them...

    I just ordered my parts from Tesla. I only got the front hub (1522264-00-B) and rear hub/vent (1111072-00-E). Was $162 total. Very easy process too, Tesla has upped there game as far as making it easy to get parts. I just called my local SC and on the automated system pressed 5 for parts...

    Sorry to say but this was your fault due to misplacement of the bracket. There is a reference arrow etched lightly into the glass to indicate the correct position (install instructions do mention this). It corresponds to a metal reinforced slot under the glass which is what the metal bracket...
