Thanks for being extremely rude. Not need. Blacksburg still remains locked down to Tesla only (which has been open for over a month), however sites that are going live are immediately showing open for NACS. So its not that straight forward, thanks.

Put the parts are most likely leaving the same factory, Buffalo. Why not make the retrofit at the factory than in the field after the site is up and running. Doesn't make sense. Not sure I buy this explanation honestly. Guess we'll see if Blacksburg opens up to non-Teslas and in what timeframe.

Seems backwards. If they've been retrofitting all locations, why not build the stalls with the hardware already in it? Sounds like they been at this a while and I would assume the Blacksburg stalls are new. Eliminate the step.

This doesn't make sense. Lots of early v3 sites are open to all EVs through the NACS. No idea how Tesla determines which sites to allow and which ones to not allow. Could also be a bug on Tesla's side. Who knows...

Another one at Lowes. Weird. At least there is a Publix in the same lot. I think co-locating with a fast-casual option or grocery store is the best. Closest to mimicking a gas station where you can use the restroom and get a snack/drink.

Ya this used to be a site I'd use on the way to the beach, now I go out of my way to skip it. Not very close to the on/off ramp. Slower speeds. Was definitely an important stop in the early days!

Grand opening is set for 02/29. Taking advantage of the leap year! I have to assume the site will be live somewhere around that date. Looking forward to charging up during the '24 football season!

I do NOT like this spot. Tesla is forcing drivers to crawl through Concord Mills traffic to get to the location. And its 2 miles off I-85. Glad I'll never be using this location. Tesla really needs some better boots-on-the-ground intel. Wouldn't be hard.
