    Leaving Someone in Car..

Does keep climate mode not work? I feel like I’ve used this a few times when leaving passengers in the car. Maybe they‘ve just been lucky. From my understanding it locks the doors when you walk away but doesn’t engage the interior alarm, again only from experience. No idea if the alarm would go...

Wiki Your first UK Tesla MOT? Checklist before the visit.

I used a Kwik Fit for my 2019 M3 MOT last month. No complaints, only took half an hour. They were used to Teslas, the only thing I had to show them was the key and where to get the millage.

    bird poo damage

Hi all, thought I'd add to this thread. Unfortunately my 2019 M3 has suffered some bird poo (I think) damage to the bonnet/bumper and wing. Mostly the paint has come right off to leave the primer visible underneath, but there is also some etching as well. I believe the bonnet will need a...

Owning a Tesla in London without a home charger?

I've had a Model 3 SR+ in Walthamstow since Aug 2019. No home charger unfortunately but I do have a couple of Ubricity chargers on my road, (one currently broken with no repair in sight annoyingly). Nearby there are some EvDot and BP pulse chargers that I use sometimes. The free BP ones are...

    Problems Charging

Hey. Sometimes charging points require you to connect things in a certain order. I have BP pulse and EVDot near me, both require initialising the charge point first with either RFID card or app before you connect cables. Could this be it? Also can you hear the cable locking at both ends? You...

Enhanced autopilot - broken and overpriced

For me NOA is only really useful for nags to exit the motorway (I have nav voice off and sometimes forget where I need to exit). Other than that it’s just interesting to see how it performs when exiting/merging. I hope it’ll be more functional once EU/UK regs are eased a bit and the system can...

    Type 2 cable melting

Cheers for the reply. I’ll make sure I check the sockets in future. It looks like BP/Polar might replace the cable. They’re asking if it’s single or three phase. Can’t seem to find an answer to this through google, can anyone recommend which phase to get?

    Type 2 cable melting

I didn't check the socket before plugging in, so this and/or the socket being worn could well be it. I've contacted BP pulse/Polar Plus for a replacement, we'll see. I'll be sure to check sockets in future.

    Type 2 cable melting

Hi all. Anyone had this happen to their Type 2 cable? (Pic attached) I mainly use 7kW Polar Plus chargers in my area, leaving the car to charge at 32A overnight. Picking up the car this morning I noticed a strong plastic smell and the cable was a bit more stuck than usual. Doesn't look like...

    Free charging points?

The closest I get to free charging is a polar plus subscription and using their free chargers. The sub is around £8/month, think I got half a year free when I first started, looks like they are still doing some free months for new joiners.

    service - what to expect

Looks like you have all the info you need, but in case you don't. I just dropped my M3 2019 SR+ in (Dartford) for a leak from boot ceiling, water in lower storage area and water inside the boot lid. They gave me a MS loaner and said that they couldn't give me an accurate estimate of repair due...

    Enhanced Autopilot (EAP)

I just got purchased the enhanced autopilot for my 2019 M3 SR+. There was no download/install time, it worked immediately after purchasing through the app (car must have already had the software). TACC is still available. My upgrade to FSD is now £3900.
