For the insurance (if you live in these 12 states), you can just upload the insurance info for your current car without having to add the Tesla to your policy. I think if you delay updating the insurance information to your account then it may delay your movement in the queue.

Nope, I'm still waiting too! Ordered 8/5, completed profile same day, still no VIN or MVPA. Last generic text on 9/17 with estimated 6-13 day window.
