Well I am happy to report that Tesla made things right. Got matched this morning with a new VIN and took delivery of the car this evening. Much better than the first car they matched us with. Today was a hectic but happy day.

Thank you! We actually did end up refusing delivery of this one (VIN 499xx) because there were many more problems with it. Panel sticking out in the front, stained back seats, back seat misalignment, etc.

This is such good information, thank you! I'm schedule for delivery on 9/27 also at Eatonville. I was nervous that our inspection would feel rushed or that the weather wouldn't cooperate, but the 3 days/100 miles limit sounds like a great idea.
