No forward vehicle detection in heavy rain

I'm not sure if the graphics are an indicator of what the computer senses. I'm assuming the computer gets a lot more information than the screen is able to display. But I could be wrong

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

I had the winter tires on the OEMs, so I went with the Replika R241s for the all-seasons as I felt the silver color went well with the chrome on the vehicle (many prefer to black out, I think it looks classier personally)

Let's talk winter tires for the 3

I have no idea what any of that means. I don't really drive in super snowy areas (between towns on higheways for example), so these are good enough for me in town. They're definitely snow tires & studdable, thats all I know.

Let's talk winter tires for the 3

I installed General Tire - Altimax Arctic 12's (purchased from PMC and put them on the cap-less aero wheels) last week, so far so good. Noise level hasn't gone up much, it's definitely grippier, and the regenerative braking seems to be working like before. We finally had a bit of snow Monday in...

    Replika R-187 or R-171

Looks great. Does that middle circle come out and allow the Tesla branded circle to fit?

Will Tesla Mobile Service Swap Winter Tires?

Just find another local shop. I'm sure with how popular the M4 is these days many shops have experience

    Replika R-187 or R-171

Awesome, thanks for the pictures. I have an MSM I grabbed in September, I think the silver one goes will with the trim.

    Base SR in Canada

They don't really sell the SR's. It's just there for the incentives, I heard its near impossible to purchase it on Tesla's website. So I'm assuming if they're getting rid of it its because incentives are ending? Or possibly changing the floor to maybe $55k

Tesla Cancels 7-Day Return Policy - Webpage Now Redirects just to Support Page

They told me when I picked up mine that since I'm using the EV incentive (federal and provincial), I'm ineligible for the 7 day return. But that incentive is added automatically to all Model 3 SR+'s, so I guess no one buying those would have the 7 day return apply to them.

    New Model 3 update

If heated steering wheels aren't coming, and I purchased my Model 3 in September with 593km on it, then the only things I would really care about is the heat pump (sort of, I can survive without it with scheduled departures in my garage and I don't like more mechanical things that can break...

    New Model 3 update

I picked mine up in September. I had seen the rumors of the heat pump, but I felt like with my garage, I can pre-heat the cabin on electric before I leave, and a mechanical heat pump built in the millions in China might just be something else that craps out at some point. I was worried about...

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Awesome, I really appreciate the photo. Yeah, I think it looks nice on a darker vehicle with the chrome to match. Thanks!

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Sorry for the late bump, but I'm looking to get these exact same ones (R241 Silver) on a Midnight Silver Metallic Model 3. I've never purchased wheels for a car before (never really owned a car worthy of it), but does anyone see any issues with silver wheels on the MSM Model 3 with regards to...

    CEV for BC 2020 Ending?

I received it 5 days after I ordered. I know there is a 5-9 week now so I'm guessing I lucked out timing wise

    Financing Tesla vehicles in Canada

It's built into the monthly payment from what I can tell. I mean I did have a down payment, but no where on the paperwork did it say the tax was outstanding. They even use your deposit and the incentives to be the down payment for the financing, you'd think it would go towards the tax otherwise.

    Financing Tesla vehicles in Canada

I just purchased an M3 last week, I saw the same thing, but was offered 2.15% by Royal Bank. And note, their loan calculator may be incorrect after purchase (mine had it showing a much, much higher premium than it ended up being)

    Rear lower control arm failed

Has this come up as an issue with the M3's at all? Coming from a 2016 Corolla which never gave me any issues, some of these stories scare me

Model 3 Canada - Confirmed Orders Only thread

I ordered on September 22nd, within a few hours I received a text that I can pick up the car this Sunday. Much faster than I expected

    Financing Tesla vehicles in Canada

Just got a call from my Tesla rep (ordered it yesterday, pickup day is this Sunday which surprised me), he said that yeah, Tesla's loan calculator is incorrect at this moment. My guestimated numbers above are more accurate. Once the website is back up I will send in the loan application. He...

    CEV for BC 2020 Ending?

I purchased a car yesterday and it still gave $8000 in incentives. I was worried about lots of people holding off until battery day (well, like me) before ordering so I grabbed one. Without that incentive the car would be out of my budget most likely. So better to have it now than not have it later.

    Financing Tesla vehicles in Canada

I purchased my Model 3 SR+ yesterday. I'm paying a large portion down, and getting a loan from Tesla (RBC/Scotia) for the remaining $19,793 or so (until my current car is sold to pay it down further). I went with a 48 month term in the payment quote, but the monthly payment estimate seems wayyy...
