    Chargers coming at Buc-ees

Gaaahhh We don't need a charger in Leeds. We need a charger down where the Beach Express way meets i10 headed into Gulf Shores/Orange Beach. The Alabama Gulf coast is a wasteland for charging unless you drive all the way out to Mobile and because Greenville's superchargers are a chit show and...

Any way to enable Sentry Mode without flashing lights?

Bump. Found this thread on a google search. My car has been messed with 3 times now in public areas. No real physical vandalization but the car has been given the bird a few times, once two gentlemen decided to expose their genitalia and last night, the car was literally peed on. It's to the...

    2021 Model 3 and differences from 2020

Anyone know if this is just mixed up messaging or if the 2020 M3's really are getting a range update? Apparently the 2020.40.4 update supposedly brings this change but I won't know until tonight when I get home and can download it, charge to 100% and see where I'm at. Some good news for model...

    Alabama Owners

Absolutely ancient thread bump but I'm curious if anyone has any info on whether or not there's been any movement on this? At least for body shop repairs, the nearest location is I believe somewhere in Prattville. Our friend has a 70D and she had to go down there to get the body work done.

How's the ride quality with the drop?

Fan runs at high speed after exiting the car with AC and HVAC off

Mine has done the same a few times. No idea why. Some days it's asleep and this past weekend when I was in the garage for a while, the fan was going. I double checked and the car was off and climate was turned off so I'm not sure what it's doing.

The 2000 Mile Test Drive in my M3

I second this. ABRP is nice because it lets you plan a multiple leg trip like if you want to go from your house to a hotel, it will list that day's stops but you can also have it add the next day's destination and it will calculate that as well and let you have your whole travel//charge/stop...

    Electrician Recs - Birmingham

I know this is an old thread but if anyone finds this searching for electricians in Birmingham, I would steer clear of On-time. They do outstanding work but their prices are at least 2x what everyone else in town will charge. They did a ton of electrical work at our house after a snow storm...

    Tesla owners in Huntsville, AL

It'll be earlier in the morning. Hopefully leaving birmingham around 8 am. These are the routes I'm seeing. 2 options for supercharging and one if we just take our SUV instead or if it turns out, there is a 240v connection at the destination I can plug into. The supercharger (if it's as quick...

Model 3 Performance Real World Range

The problem with dropping them off is that the destination is 45 minutes east of the interstate/Athens so I'd have to drive 45 minutes, drop them off, drive back to the interstate 45 minutes, charge and then drive 45 minutes back to the destination. The Athens superchargers are only about 15...

    Charging in Seabrook/Kiawah (Charleston, SC)?

My wife's family have a place in Kiawah and no charging over there is a bummer. It looks like Tesla have a Charleston supercharge planned for this year but who knows if it will actually happen in 2020 or not. Find Us | Tesla

    Supercharger - Montgomery, AL

Yeah the Huntsville trip next weekend is to my family's pumpkin patch out at Tate farms and it's a 120 mile drive from our house. I don't know how comfortable I am trying to move 240 miles without a charge and I know for a fact that some of my cousins up there are going to want to whip around...

    Tesla owners in Huntsville, AL

Howdy folks. I'm not a Huntsville native (Birmingham) but we're coming up in a couple weeks to the Tate Farm pumpkin patch (my family on my mom's side are the Tate's) but I'm wondering if Athens is our best bet for a charge? I really don't know how comfortable I am trying to make a 250 mile...

    Insurance Tripled after adding Tesla

I had a Dodge Charger Scatpack before the Tesla and my wife has a 2018 Volvo XC90 and we have an older Volvo S70 T5. With USAA, our insurance for all 3 cars dropped from $1356 6/mo to $1242 6/mo. We're in our late 30's both with clean records.

    Supercharger - Birmingham, AL

I went last week and the lot gates were raised the whole time. It was around lunch time. The construction has only gotten worse over the years. It's MAJORLY wrecked around there right now. Richard Arrington jr blvd is shut down right past 24th street N so you basically need to come at it from...

    Supercharger - Montgomery, AL

That would be great to get something out there at Eastchase. I was there this weekend and made it from Bhm to Montgomery and back with about 14% charge remaining. Luckily if I stay more than a day, I can just plug in my travel charger but SOMETHING is needed besides the comically slow...

Nah. I leave sentry mode on at the office and it only drains 2% in the 9 hours that I'm there.

Model 3 Performance Real World Range

I know this is an older thread but I found it while researching how my own real world mileage compares to that of others and figured I'd add my numbers thus far. We took a weekend trip this past Sunday (model 3 performance w/20" wheels) for a total of 200 miles for the round trip. I charged to...

Pic of your Model 3.......RIGHT NOW! [model 3 pictures thread]

Picked mine up Monday! I sold a thirsty 500hp Dodge Charger that was costing me about $180~200 per month in gasoline. I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss that roaring 6.4L Hemi but the speed this M3P has is just incredible and effortless.

No way to view lease information?

I have looked what seems like everywhere for the lease information for my Model 3 I picked up yesterday and I can't find it anywhere on my Tesla account page. Is this information not available or is there a separate financing service or website I have to login to? The lease financing was...
