    Why a Y Needs Mud Guards/Flaps

90% reduction has been our experience as well. Wish the car came with them, but I am glad to no longer be sad looking at the absolute spray of salt and debris on the rear panel.

I see so many model Y owners having issues. Would you buy again?

We would absolutely buy the model Y again, and probably will after we put 100k on this one. We had one small issue with a panel gap that SC will fix when we do our tire rotation later this year, but no other issues at all. The auto wipers are frustrating in the snow, so we have those turned back...

    Let's See Your Charging Setup

We opted for a manual transfer switch fed off the existing dryer breaker. We only do laundry on Sunday for the most part, and the car charges on TOU rates with Xcel in the middle of the night, so this works great. NEMA 14-30 plug, and we get about 23/hr charge rate. Wife's commute is 15 miles...

    Roadside tire repair review

I can't say for sure, but the tire they gave us was what he called a universal tire and had telsa markings on it. Goodyear was the rubber. Not sure why they wouldn't give you a loaner if you have aftermarket wheels, but can't say for sure.

    Roadside tire repair review

Correct. Had we not had a flat at the end of the day, the roadside repair would have been done that day and no loaner needed. Honestly, I have waited hours for AAA service. This was really a good experience, and that has been my experience since day one with Telsa.

    Roadside tire repair review

I think the patch was $60 bucks. Going forward you could get the loaner and have discount or similar patch for $15-$20 or do it yourself, but then there is a trip to the tesla SC to drop off the loaner tire. Not having my time impacted at all was worth the $60 bucks.

    Roadside tire repair review

It has probably been 15 years since I had a flat tire, and of course I get one in the car that does not have a spare kit.... Contacted Tesla through the mobile app, dude showed up 25 min later and put a loaner on, and Tesla repair was at my office at 830 this morning and had the tire patched and...

PPF noticable for just the front bumper?

I had the full front end done in Denver as well as tinting of the front windows for $1850 I believe. When I talked to the shop about modifying what was covered, it was clear this was kind of a package deal, bumper, full hood, a-pillars, rear bumper ledge, mirrors, headlights, fog lights, and...

    First snow

We got a good round of snow last week in Denver. As it would happen, that same morning was also the day when the MY was due to the detail shop to get the clear and tint done. The MY long range handled just fine on snow and ice packed roads, and we found the traction control to be quite...

    PPF and Tint Cost

For reference, for $2675 the same shop will do the following PPF: Front Bumper · Headlamps and Fog Lamps · Full Hood and Full Fenders · A-Pillars and Roof Strip · Lower Door Strip and Rocker Panels · Lower Rear Bumper Impact Areas ·...

    PPF and Tint Cost

Picked up our MY this morning in Denver. tint on front windows to match the rear, Xpel with 10 year warranty on full bumper, full hood wrapped, A-pillars, mirror, headlights, fog lights, and door handles, $1850. Of the places I checked in Denver this was the most competitive price with the...

Are Floor Mats Included for the Model Y?

MY long range picked up in Denver three weeks ago; floor mats were in the car.

    Some reassurance

First post after a long time of lurking.... I will add we picked up our Y two weeks ago in Denver, and only had to have the passenger door adjusted slightly to line up the trim. It was really close and likely would have been considered in "spec," however the driver side was absolutely...
