Update: SA said that the 8th is only a provisional date, and that there's a good chance we get delivery earlier. Not sure if he just means we might get matched with a reject/financing failure or if that's a worst case estimate for the manufacturing/shipping process. Back to checking the account...

Do you have the tow hitch? I forgot to mention it on mine, I've read elsewhere that it causes delays. Annoying they're not more transparent about the process though. I did just notice that they've added the delivery location and it's to to the wrong SC. I'm guessing the date is still good but...

VIN and delivery date both popped this morning for our 9/9 order... 63xxx and December 8! LR AWD/Black/black/Gemini/no FSD. Annoying that it'll have taken almost 3 months from order date when some people here are getting there cars in a few weeks, but it's nice to have a date to look forward to.

It's weird because I've heard this from several places too, but delivery estimate (for Canada) on a new order is still 3-7 weeks - presumably that would mean a VIN before end of October?

Any idea if "overseas" here includes Canada or is specifically non-NA markets? I'm another Sep 9 order with no VIN yet - timed the high end 11 week (at the time) delivery estimate to the end of my current lease, so it'd be kind of annoying to have to go almost a month without a car...
