I changed my order about five times after I placed it. I never lost my place in line, and Tesla doesn't really care that you change your stuff until after your VIN is assigned. At one point I even reconfigured the color and interior.

Did you get a VIN at least? Or did you go from nothing to "prep for delivery"?

No...I wish. People are saying it's still on the app today though so maybe Tesla did some sleight of hand w/ the "order by 9/30." Did they say it was actually going away, or just heavily imply that you should order by 9/30
