Not sure if it is the same, but when I got my M3, the blinker often would not respond like designed. Particularly the half press and sometimes a full press. It was the turn stalk unit, which they replaced and all the issues for me went away. Also, this was in 2019.

Took a 3 hour trip on back roads at 55 MPH using autopilot on 2022.4.5.17 and also didn't have any phantom braking events when passing large trucks/vehicles. Not a perfect use case, but this same road for me 6 months ago was unbearable on auto pilot. So things are looking up.
