Waiting, from Vancouver, BC Ordered SR+ on Oct 8. Delivery date listed as 5-9 weeks. I had Nov 13-Dec 11 listed as a date range on the Tesla Account page but this disappeared a day later.

Yes very straightforward. You may have a sales advisor to contact you via email or phone. You can let them know you'll wait and they'll release the VIN and mark your account until 2021s arrive.

You have to look up the motor vehicle purchase agreement. You will see this document when you're assigned the VIN. The VIN will be on that document

Ordered on 10/08 for a SR+ White exterior/black interior and received a 2020 VIN the same day. 8086x3 ending VIN. Will be asking to release the VIN and ask to have a delivery date in November. Hoping for a 2021 VIN by then.
